Trips 2 and 3 - A double header!

Heading back from trip 3.  That has been an interesting 4 work days.  Two trips.

The first one was a grand total of a mile and a half to Stobhill Hosptial (nothing exciting there) but today we were up with the larks to get the zero dark hundred special to Stoke on Trent for a little issue with windows bluescreening.

Bit of jiggiling about and we are sorted.

Total for the year, 3 trips 801 miles!  And if I end up going to Abudhabi...

The Beginning or is it???

Just before Christmas I thought about writing a blog about my travels with my job as an IPS Engineer.  More from the curiosity side of where I end up.  Made a mental note to start it this year and blog about where I go and keep a track on miles travelled. 

Last year was really good, I flew more times than I can imagine and was thinking about buying shares in the train as I was using it so much.  It really helps that my favourite way to travel is by train or by plane.

Today I am off to Skipton in Yorkshire.  We have a customer with a chronic case of Bitlockeritus.  Bitlocker is Microsoft's idea of encryption and as is the usual with most Microsoft products, it can be a bit tricky at times to get it to do what you want. 

I think this is the 4th or 5th time I have gone to site where a customer has a Bitlocker problem, it is certainly one of the biggest "call drivers" I have.

Distance is 149  miles each way giving a total of 298 miles for the year.  Any bets on what that total will be for the year?
